About Star
Star is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing recycling in Texas. Our mission is to promote partnerships, education, and advocacy to create a cleaner, greener, and more economically sustainable Texas.
Our Objectives
At Star, we have several objectives that guide our work:
1. Supporting Recycling Professionals
We are committed to helping recycling professionals in Texas. We provide resources, training, and support to enhance their knowledge and skills. By empowering these professionals, we aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of recycling programs across the state.
2. Educating the Public and Lawmakers
Educating the public and lawmakers about the importance of recycling is a key focus for us. We believe that by raising awareness and providing accurate information, we can encourage more individuals and communities to participate in recycling initiatives. We also advocate for policies and legislation that promote recycling and sustainable waste management practices.
3. Expanding Access to Recycling
