San Antonio Corporate Recycling Council
Our Texas Recycles Day event will be held at Woodlawn Lake Park on November 15th from 9am-2pm.
- The City of San Antonio will be displaying our automated collection trucks and will be accepting recyclables from apartment complexes.
- Corona Visions will be accepting electronics.
- Goodwill will be accepting gently used furniture and clothing.
- The Athlete's Foot will be accepting used tennis shoes as part of Nike's Re-Use A Shoe program and Home Depot will be accepting CFLs.
- We will be conducting composting classes and giving away compost bins.
- We will have activities for children.
- A local group of youth will provide entertainment, while their parents provide food booths.
- Greenstar will have their 53ft mobile education trailer and VIA Metropolitan Transit will have their education bus.
- The City of San Antonio will have our new CNG automated garbage truck on display.
- We have approximately 35 booths for organizations and vendors.
