The STAR Mission

The mission of the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR) is to promote and enhance recycling and waste diversion activities in the State of Texas. We will accomplish this by fostering communication and the exchange of information regarding recycling among professionals, organizations, governmental entities, and individuals; by complementing and coordinating recycling industry initiatives; and by acting as a clearinghouse of recycling resources.
